Vacancies are available at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for the positions of Clinical Psychologists. AIIMS, Bhopal will conduct walk-in-interview on 20 December 2023 for Clinical Psychologists on CONTRACTUAL BASIS. Further details about the vacancy are as follows.
AIIMS came into existence in the year 1956 as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the object of developing patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India.
Essential Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Clinical Psychologist, candidates are required to have successfully completed their Master’s degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Psychology. Additionally, they should have pursued further education in the form of a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Clinical Psychology.
With this, it is necessary to have experience of at least two years in Clinical Psychology. The desirable qualification for the post of Clinical Psychologist is Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university.
Emolument Details
The selected candidates will get a consolidated emolument of ₹75,000/- per month.
Number of Seats
There are 2 seats available for the post of Clinical Psychologist. 1 seat is reserved for OBC candidates and the remaining 1 is Unreserved.
Students must note that the vacancies are on contractual basis for 1 year.
Application Fee
Candidates who belong to the category of General /OBC need to make a payment of ₹1,000/- as application fee by way of a demand draft in favor of Executive Director AIIMS, Bhopal.
PwD /ST /SC and Female candidates are exempted from application fee.

Age Limit
The candidates applying for the post must note that the upper age limit is 21-35 years for the vacancies.
Note: Age limit refers to completed age in years as on last date of submission of application i.e. the date of walk- in interview.

Applicants can report for the walk-in-interview latest by 9:00 AM on the date of interview with the duly filled application form the prescribed proforma mentioned below and original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies of their proof of date of birth, eligibility qualification mark sheets, degrees, experience certificate, and other relevant testimonials.

Important Notes
- Candidates reporting after 10:00 AM will not be allowed to appear in the verifications unless exceptional exigencies.
- All required qualifications will be considered as of the date of the walk-in interview.
- No TA /DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- The appointment can be terminated by the competent authority any time before one year also, without assigning any reason thereof.
- The employment will be on purely contractual basis, and there is no possibility of it becoming a permanent position under any circumstances.
