NTA on the behalf of UGC NET has extended the dates to apply for December 2022 Session. The Application includes the Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor 83 subjects. The details of the admission are as follows
UGC-NET (National Eligibility Test) is primarily conducted by the National Testing Agency on behalf of the University Grant Commission. It is the examination to determine the eligibility of the aspirants who want to pursue a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). It also helps a candidate to work as an Assistant Professor in a UGC Recognized University or College. Currently, the UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year in the months of June and December through computer-based tests.
Age limit for UGC NET December 2022 Session:
If a candidate is applying for Junior Research Fellowship, the age limit is 30 years (as per recent notification) and for the candidate applying for the eligibility of assistant professor, there is no age limit. A relaxation of up to 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to OBC-NCL/SC/ST/ PwD/Third gender categories and to women applicants.
Application Fee:
The fee to fill out the application form for General candidates is ₹1,100. For EWS/OBD-NCL candidates is ₹550 and for the SC/ST/PwD and Third Gender Candidates that fee is ₹275.
