The Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences is formerly known as Hospital for the Mental Diseases, and Shahdara is now also known as IHBAS. IHBAS is a mental health and neurosciences research institute which is based in Shahdara, New Delhi. IHBAS was established in response to a Supreme Court verdict in 1993, transforming previous HMD into a center for treatment, training, and research. It is an Autonomous Society under the command of the Delhi Government.

Name of the Post: Professor of Clinical Psychology

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification:

P.G. Qualification e.g., Master Degree, in the discipline/ allied subject.
A Doctorate degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized University.

Experience:

14 years of teaching/ research experience in the discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree. Out of which at least 3 years’ experience at Additional Professor level or 6 years at Associate Professor Level.

Desirable: Research/ Published work in indexed Journals.

Maximum Age limit: 50 Years

Eligibility Criteria:

A Post Graduate Qualification e.g. Master’s Degree, in the discipline specialty or equivalent.
A Doctorate degree like Ph.D. in the concerned specialty from a recognized University or a recognized qualification equivalent – thereto in the respective discipline/subject.

Experience:

10 years of teaching/ research experience in the discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree. Out of which at least 04 years of teaching experience at the Associate Professor level.

Desirable: Research/ Published work in indexed Journals.

Maximum Age limit: 50 Years

Pay Matrix Level: Level-13A2 ₹ 1,48,200 – ₹ 2,11,400

Name of the Post: Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology

Qualification:

A postgraduate qualification e.g. Master’s Degree in the discipline allied subject.
A doctorate degree/Ph.D. of a recognized University in the respective discipline.

Experience:

03 years of teaching/ research experience in the discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree

Desirable: Research/published work in Indexed Journal.
