The National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (NIEPVD) is inviting applications from eligible applicants for the vacancy of Lecturer of Integrated B.Sc M.Sc Applied Psychology for a period of 11 months. This engagement will be purely on a temporary basis. Renewal of engagement for the further period is subject to the project need and performance of the individual consultant. About NIEPVD
The NIEPVD in Dehradun is among the seven National Institutes. These institutes function under the management of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwDs), which falls under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment in the Government of India. It commenced way back in 1943 as St Dunstan’s Hostel for the War Blinded to provide rehabilitation services to the soldiers and sailors blinded in World War II. In 1950, the Government of India assumed control of St. Dunstan’s Hostel and assigned it to the Ministry of Education. The Ministry took the responsibility of creating a wide range of services to help blind individuals with their rehabilitation.
Essential Qualification for the Post
In order to be eligible for the post of lecturer for Integrated B.Sc M.Sc in Applied Psychology (Consultant) at NIEPVD, it is necessary to complete Master’s Degree in Psychology with not less than 55% marks. Besides this, the applicant should have a valid Central Rehabilitation Registration (CRR) Number.
PhD Degree in Psychology is desirable education for this post.

Currently, the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (NIEPVD) is having only 1 seat for the post of Lecturer for Integrated B.Sc M.Sc in Applied Psychology (Consultant). Applicants must note that the duration of this post is 11 months.
Emolument Details
As per the official recruitment notice of NIEPVD, the consolidated emolument of the selected candidate will be ₹ 45,000/- per month.
