NIMHANS stands for National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences is a institute of National Importance which is based in Bengaluru, It is one of top college in the country for Medical Studies and Psychology, NIMHANS has so far produced more than 1000 Psychiatrist and 600 Clinical Psychologist. In 1994 it was declared as Deemed to be University. In 2012 it was given the status of Institute of National Importance.

Eligibility: Candidates should possess BA/B.Sc. of a recognized University with Psychology as one of the subjects.
Desirable: Diploma / Certificate in teaching the mentally handicapped / B.Ed Degree.
Experience: Candidates should have At least one year experience in teaching in a normal school or a school of the Handicapped
Age Limit: 30 years.
Salary: Level 6, Rs.35,400 – 1,12,400/

Candidates have to submit the application form which is to be download from the NIMHANS Website which is to be submitted in the Director, NIMHANS, P.B.No.2900, Hosur Road, Bengaluru – 560 029, India. Candidates also need to enclose the Payment details along with certificates of Age Proof, Academic Qualifications, Marks Sheets (of all the years / semesters), Experience, etc.
