According to the new pathway, MA in Clinical Psychology will replace the existing M. Phil Clinical Psychology in next 5-6 years. so, the students, The RCI will regulate the upcoming 2-year full time practical course of MA in Clinical Psychology.  Also, the eligibility for admission to upcoming 2-year practical oriented MA in Clinical Psychology course will be 4-year BA (Hons) in Psychology and this (4+2) year course will be regulated by Rehabilitation council of India (RCI). This new education system will now allow students to get a license of Clinical Psychologist after 6 years of higher education. Entrance pattern and syllabus for this MA Clinical psychology course will be similar to current M.Phil Clinical Psychology courses. So, student seeking to get admission in this course, needs to prepare with good strategies since the seats will be limited and competition will be tough for admission in this 2-year MA Clinical psychology Course.
