Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Gandhinagar has released the First Merit List for Admissions to M.Phil Clinical Psychology, for the academic year 2023-24.
About Rashtriya Raksha University
Rashtriya Raksha University, located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, is a central university. It holds the prestigious status of being an Institute of National Importance and was previously referred to as RSU. The university underwent a significant transformation through the enactment of Parliament Act No. 31 of 2020. Its inception traces back to the year 2009 when it was originally established by the Government of Gujarat.
RRU offers a diverse range of academic programs, including undergraduate, postgraduate, research degrees, and professional diploma certificates, spanning various disciplines. Notably, RRU has recently got approval from the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) to offer an M Phil Clinical Psychology program, with the second session scheduled for 2023.

M.Phil Clinical Psychology Course at RRU
M.Phil Clinical Psychology comes under the Department of Clinical Psychology at the School of Criminology and Behavioral Sciences. At the Community Health Centre in Dahegam and the Primary Health Centre in Sampa, the Clinical Psychology Outpatient Department (OPD) plays a crucial role in providing psychological assessments and treatment to referred patients. This OPD employs MPhil students under the guidance of designated faculty members, ensuring comprehensive care for the patients.
