The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS) is a reputed Institution that provides M. Phil Couse under its premises. NIMHANS, Bengaluru was declared a DEEMED University in 1994 by the Central Government. It not only gives training to the students but also provides them with many opportunities regularly. NIMHANS got the title of “Institute of National Importance” in 2012.

Essential Qualifications:

a) I or II Class M.A./M.Sc degree in Psychology

b) M.Phil in Clinical Psychology OR equivalent qualification from an Institution / University recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)

c) Ph.D in Clinical Psychology from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience: 3 years of teaching or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree as above.

Maximum Age limit: 50 Years

Pay Matrix: ₹1,01,500/- to ₹1,67,400/-

Initial Pay Matrix: ₹ 1,01,500/-

Name of the Post: Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology (For Psycho-Social Support Disaster Management)

Essential Qualifications:

a) I or II Class M.A./M.Sc degree in Psychology

b) M.Phil in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification from an Institution / University recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)

c) Ph.D in Clinical Psychology from a recognized University Institution.

Experience: 3 years of teaching or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree as above.

Desirable: Experience in disaster management training service and research.

Maximum Age limit: 50 Years

Pay Matrix: ₹1,01,500/- to ₹1,67,400/-

Initial Pay Matrix: ₹ 1,01,500/-
