As per the Latest Notification Dharwad Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Dharwad is proud to announce a new course to its curriculum for the session 2022-23. The Course M. Sc Clinical psychology is about to be started shortly. DIMHANS will be the first government institution to start a Post Graduate Clinical Psychology program in a mental health setup.
Dharwad Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Dharwad was started as a ‘Lunatic asylum’ in the year 1845 by the British Government. DIMHANS provides various Post Graduate courses under its command including Nursing, Psychiatry, Psychiatry social work, and clinical Psychology. The Clinical Psychology course was introduced to the institution in 2019. Further details regarding the admission are as follows.
The course will be affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bengaluru. The fusion of theoretical and practical knowledge in the hospital setting will be of great benefit to the students. This is an excellent opportunity for the aspirants who want to pursue Clinical Psychology.
The Selection of the students in the course will be based on their under-graduation marks, entrance test marks, and interview/counseling session marks. The admissions for the same should be available shortly.
