The Central University of Karnataka, Department of Psychology Vacancy for Assistant Professor –UPS Education

CUK has invited online applications from eligible candidates to apply for the vacant post of Assistant Professor under the department of psychology.

The Central University of Karnataka (CUK) is one of the central universities established by the government of India under the Parliament Act (No. 3 of 2009). The university is based in Kalaburangi, Karnataka. The university occupies 654 acres of land near Kadiganchi village in the Kalaburagi district of Karnataka state. It offers various Arts, Humanities, Management, Sciences, and Engineering courses. It is currently running 16 departments divided into 7 schools and 1 center and it is offering 9 Dual degree programs, 15 master’s degree programs, 16 Research (Ph.D.) programs.

Qualifications:

A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC or who are or have been awarded Ph.D. Degrees in accordance with the University Grants Commission.
