ITBP Sub Inspector Vacancy Available

As per the latest announcement of ITBP, 9 vacancies are available for candidates with Masters in Psychology degree. These vacancies are on a temporary basis and might shift to permanent in ITB Police. Interested students may read all the information and apply from 19th May 2023. The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is a border guarding force of India deployed along its borders with Tibet Autonomous Region. It is one of the seven Central Armed Police Forces, established in 1962 in the aftermath of the Sino-Indian War of 1962. ITBP was established in 1962, following the Sino-Indian War. It operates under the administrative control of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The ITBP is tasked with maintaining peace and security in the border areas, preventing trans-border crimes, and promoting friendly relations between India and Tibet. The force is also involved in disaster management and is known for its mountaineering and skiing skills. The ITBP recruits both male and female personnel and has a strength of over 90,000 personnel.

Selection Procedure:

The selection process consists of a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Test, Verification of Documents, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME). Further details will be available shortly
