The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences is a institute of national importance which is based in Bengaluru. Nimhans is primarily a institute of mental health which offers various courses in mental health including Psychiatry and Psychology. it has so far produced 1000 psychiatrist and 600 clinical psychologist. It was declared a ‘Deemed University’ in 1994 and later on it was declared as institute of national importance in 2012. This institute provides insights to the central government and state government on various areas including the establishment of new institutes and improvement of existing facilities.

Eligibility: Candidates needs to possess the MA in Psychology, Candidates also need to have experience working in the community in the field of mental health and Counseling services is preferred. Also they must be able read, write and communicate in English language as well as Kannada language.

Salary: ₹30,000/- (consolidated) per month.
Duration of the post: 6 months.
